Do you need a Facebook page for your business?
That’s a loaded question, as the obvious answer is yes.
With more and more people using social media; they are getting accustomed to seeing marketing, advertising, and even making purchases directly on social media platforms… especially Facebook.
There are unlimited reasons why your business needs a Facebook page…
With almost every target market and millions of people who fit your perfect customer profile on Facebook, you are leaving money on the table if you don’t have a Facebook Page for your business.
If you want your network marketing business to thrive online or you are hoping to do business online, you need to have a Facebook Page.
The obvious thing Facebook has going for it is numbers.
Facebook has surpassed Google as the most trafficked site in the world.
People spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook.
That’s 700 billion! Your business needs to go where the people are hanging out.
But getting on Facebook isn’t just about the fact that there are a lot of people there.
If you are one of the last holdouts, here are 5 reasons why you need a Facebook Business page
1. Branding and Identity
You see, Facebook is the biggest social media network and if you have a business online, it’s expected that you also have a Facebook presence.
It is almost a validation that you are a legitimate business.
It helps brand you as a professional entity and it creates a conduit between you and your prospects.
Plus, due to Facebook’s incredible reach, it helps you instantly establish a broader reach for your identity and creates an additional channel beyond just your website which can give you and your business more visibility.
Facebook helps you establish yourself as an expert in your niche.
You become the funnel of helpful information related to your niche that your community needs.
You hand-feed your community tips, tidbits, newsworthy items, and hot happenings so that when they need your services, you are the first person they think about.
3. Better Access to Facebook Advertising Opportunities
If you create your own Facebook business page, you have stronger advertising options for reaching more of your fans than with a Personal Profile.
For example, reaching fans and friends of your fans with Promoted Posts.
You can also create ads that target the exact audience you are looking to reach based on gender, age, location, income, relationship status, and just about anything else you can possibly imagine.
Do you see the power in this type of targeting?
Again this is only available to a Facebook business page and not a regular Facebook profile.
You can do so on a very small budget and scale up as you continue to attract more followers and increase your sales from Facebook.
With some recent Facebook Page changes, you can now comment on other Pages as your Page and Like other Page’s posts.
If you have no idea what that sentence is about, don’t worry.
Just know that this feature will give your Facebook Page much more visibility than it had before and make it easier to participate on Facebook as your business.
As with any online posting, use this new feature wisely.
Make sure you aren’t just spamming other pages — always add value to the discussion.
Probably the most obvious reason for creating a Facebook Page is Traffic.
Facebook can drive a tremendous amount of traffic to both your Facebook Page and your website or other external asset.
There is literally no better way to drive mountains of traffic to any destination you choose than through Facebook’s billions of users.
From free organic traffic and viral traffic, to traffic generated through Facebook Ads, there is no better way to drive highly targeted traffic.
The audience you identify and create can be constantly built upon to aid in creating a non-stop traffic generating machine via your Facebook Page.
