You might have a million different objections about why network marketing would absolutely never work for you, I did too.
I get it. You don’t have enough friends, you think it’s a “pyramid scheme”, you don’t like being “salesy”, no one can ever actually succeed at network marketing.
Network Marketing, also known as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) is one of the most misunderstood industries in Nigeria and in the world as a whole.

There’s a common saying that I just love, “leaders are readers”.

Simply, if you don’t have people to talk to about your products and services, and business, you are unemployed in this industry.
You must have people to share your product stories and successes with, so they can become a customer, and maybe a distributor.

3. Have Your “Why” Established

One of the biggest mistakes new network marketers make is looking at everyone (including friends and family) as a potential customer or recruit.
This is one area where the network marketing industry gets it wrong.
Like any other business, you’re going to have greater success and efficiency if you identify your target market and focus your marketing efforts at them.
If for instance are in the wellness industry, someone who doesn’t care about vitamins or health and wellness isn’t a good person to pester about your business.
5. Focus on Relationships

If you get your starter kit and immediately call everyone you haven’t talked to in three years to ask them to book a party, you’re not going to succeed at network marketing.
In fact, you’ll probably crash and burn really quick.

It’s salesy and it’s the in-person version of email spam. Network marketing is all about relationships.
Organically use the products and recommend them when they naturally fit.
Genuinely try to help people, share naturally and organically, and don’t see everyone as a new potential customer, see them as a friend.
