Are you an introvert who thinks introverts can’t be successful in direct sales or do you have introverts in your network marketing team and want to learn how to help them succeed?
If you’re an introvert looking for network marketing success tips, don’t despair.
In today’s post, I answered the question, can introverts succeed in network marketing?
CAN INTROVERTS SUCCEED IN NETWORK MARKETING?
Is network marketing for introverts?
Being successful doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to be an extrovert.
There are many introverts out there who are highly successful in network marketing.
A lot of the people you see up on stage and making it happen in business aren’t necessarily extroverts.
What successful introverts learn to do is bring out the ‘extroverted’ in them in social situations when they need to.
I’ve picked up a few tips I think would be beneficial to you;
1. GET PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME.
If you are an introvert and you are working on yourself.
Take this very serious. Before you head into your next social event, spend a few minutes thinking about what you want to learn from others.
Have a few questions ready to ask new people, such as “How did you get started in your career?” or “What are you passionate about?”
If being put on the spot makes you nervous, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with writing questions down and practicing ahead of time.
Also think about what you want to share about yourself—you can’t rely on another person to carry the conversation for you!
2. BUT YOU’RE AN INTROVERT, NOT SOMEONE WITH CRIPPLINGLY LOW SELF-WORTH
Self-worth issues affect extroverts and introverts alike.
A bad self-image is not about how you get your energy, but how you see yourself.
An extrovert with a bad self-image might spend all of his time trying to get validation from other people instead of solving problems.
An introvert with bad-self worth might be too busy wallowing to think of any good solutions.

Ask for support from people who love you, and get better connected to yourself.
You’ll be much better at life and marketing if you do.
3. START SMALL
Start with sharing with just one or two people at a time.
Then continue to work your way up until you are more comfortable in larger groups.
Last but most important of all, make your mission about serving and helping others, and focus on building relationships.
When you stop worrying about yourself so much and instead start being genuinely interested in others and how you can help them, that passion can help you overcome the fear.
By focusing on building relationships, providing solutions and being authentic you can attract customers to you.
Remember it is important to follow up and nurture your relationships and continue to stay in contact.
4. WORK WITH YOUR STRENGTHS
Network Marketing is not a single-approach kind of a business.
There are many ways to connect with prospects, and some of them are great for introverts.
If you’re not great at face-to-face sales, consider writing or blogging.
If writing isn’t your thing, but you’re good in front of a camera, think about setting up a YouTube account or connecting through other social media websites.
Maybe you’re great at connecting people.
If that’s you, then listen to your prospects, help them figure out how to solve their problem, then connect them with the right person.
This works well if you have a lot of great personal relationships with your clients because you’ve gotten your name out there and helped two people out.
