Do you know that many network marketers struggle after they’ve run out of their warm market prospects because of not knowing what to do afterwards…
They would have talked to their friends and families
…their co-workers, partners, friends of friends etc.
So what next to do?
DO YOU BELIEVE THIS: ‘There is no shortage of people on this planet’
YES!!!!! There are people everywhere!
To be sincere with you, It is not that some network marketers couldn’t find anyone else to talk to about their opportunity…
The problem was the fear they had towards reaching out to people they didn’t know!
We must break out of our comfort zone if we are to find success in this field.
This is because, You cannot be committed to your dream and your comfort zone at the same time.
You will have to choose one!
If you want to break through out of the fear of reaching out to people you dont know, then do this: add value when inviting cold market prospect in network marketing
How to add value when inviting cold market prospect in network marketing
Give a Sincere Compliment
When approaching any prospect…
Give them a sincere compliment!
“That’s an awesome wrist watch! Where’d you get it?”
“That’s an awesome dress! My hubby/wife/father/mother..etc would love to wear something like that!”
“Wow, you’re a sharp person. Do you keep your career options open?”
“Wow, you’re a sharp person. What kind of work are you in?”
“I’ve enjoyed dealing with you & appreciate your service. Have you ever thought about moving into working for yourself?”
This starts a conversation while at the same time works to create rapport.
Listen More and Talk Less
If you want people to like you, you must let them talk.
Everyone loves to talk about themselves so the more you let them talk, the more they will like you.
On the flip side, the more you talk, the more you bore them and they will not like you.
You need to be sincerely genuinely interested in the other person and if you are, it should be natural for you to let them talk.
Ask him questions and let him talk and share what he’s been up to.
The more he talks, the more you will get to add more values with cold market prospect.
Focus on Using Break Statements in Your Short Conversations with Cold Prospects
Focus on using break statements in your short conversations with strangers so it doesn’t seem so abrupt when you say a word to them.
First, find something to build quick rapport with.
For example, if you’re in the bookstore and they’ve picked up a Napoleon Hill book, say something like: “Hey, Napoleon Hill. I love his books. Which ones have you read so far?”
Discuss that a bit and then use a break statement…something like:
“Hey, I gotta run… I need to pick my kids up (Or, I’m about to get to a meeting). But if you’d like, I’d love to get your info & meet up for coffee sometime down the road. How’s that sound?”
Or, you might be very direct with:
“Hey, I always love meeting people of like-mind and I’m actually looking for sharp people in the area because I’m building a business. I’d love to talk with you about it but I have to go pick up my kids in a few minutes (Or, I have to get to a meeting that’s coming up, or I need to meet with my spouse, etc). Why don’t I grab your info and we can catch up at another time?”
The key here is you don’t want to get into anything at all about your business.
Keep it casual and light.
Get their followup info so you have a lead to call and inviting prospects that started out as strangers into your network marketing business will soon feel natural.
Explore their Seeds of Discontent in their Lives.
Is it money they lack or time to spend with family and friends?
Is it their job that they hate, or the lack of substantial savings for their retirement?
Maybe there’s not a lot of fun in their daily routine.
Whatever it is, you won’t discover it by doing all the talking.
Ask them open ended questions… Let them talk about themselves and listen wide open.
Your one and only job is to hear what they say.
