HOW TO ATTRACT RECRUITING STRONG NETWORK MARKETING LEADERS.
One of the leaders in our training group asked me “What I need now is more Leaders in my team, how do I?”
In this training, I want to show you why you may not have many leaders in your business and things you have done wrong several years or in the past few years and how to attract leaders in your network marketing.
What we do wrong in network marketing, what we say wrongly when we are prospecting turns leaders off and ambitious successful people.
How many times have you been in your company presentation, and you told your prospect, you just have to recruit two people, it’s really easy to get people in?
All of that may sound great but to a leader, to someone who is successful, especially to someone who has built a traditional business or even a franchise, when they hear things like that, you may actually be turning them off because everything they have done to be successful, they’d worked for it.
So when someone tells them they don’t have to work that much, all they have to do is to look for a couple of people and they are going to get rich, they are going to raise some bars of resistance because they don’t necessarily believed you and the reason why they don’t believe you is that, it’s really not true, isn’t it?
When you have just started, I will encourage you to look out for a mentor.
Look for someone that is getting the kind of results you want to be getting.

You will also have to invest in yourself. Network marketing is a business of self development.
Often times, we don’t tell people the truth in network marketing, we don’t let them know that this is a business, a business where they will have to work, where they will have to do something in order to make it work.
You will have to tell them that they would have to invest in themselves, they will have to acquire new skills as such as recruiting skills, prospecting skills.. Etc
And invest in their business. They need to know that. We need to let them know. Tell them the truth.
Treat them as if you were recruiting people in your business, interview them, tell them they will have to work.
Never tell them that you are going to do most of the work just for the sake to bring them in because doing that will be teaching them entitlement mentality and don’t take care attitude.
It is exhausting to do all of the work… If it’s not duplication, then network marketing wouldn’t worth it because if not duplication, you’ve got yourself another job.
Some people would even say, give me a list of your contacts, I will call them for you… What are you teaching that person?
If they are successful people, they are going to look at you and would say, I don’t even have to do my own work!!! That doesn’t make any sense to them.
Don’t give them expectations that they really don’t have to work.
Someone who is successful in life knows they really have to do something.
If in case you came across any successful person or a leader of any organization, if they ask you if they are going to do some work, don’t lie, let them know that this is a business and they will have to do some work to make it work.
If you lie to them, you will turn them off. And these are the very people that you need to build your business.
So raise the bar, do some professional favor, raise the reputation and help people realize that they are going to have to do some work.
They will have to learn some skills, put in some work as well as some time and you are not going to do it for them.
Your duty is to open the door, show them the way, and let them plug in and they can go to work. If they go to work, they are going to have results and if they don’t go to work, they will have no results.
However, when you recruit people, ask them what they hope to earn in the next six months of joining you.
If for instance they said they want to earn $500,000 within the next six months, you should ask yourself if this is possible in your organization and have you done it before, are they also ready to put in the work needed to make such?
If all these questions sounds NO to you, please tell them the reality.
Ask them how much they make right now, have they made $100,000 in six months before?
The concept is to stabilize their income expectations.
If you came out clean and simple with reality to them and they zoom off, well, wish them good bye, let them know that you don’t need them, they need you.
Don’t be addicted to your results, be addicted to your activity.
The fact is you need people but not just any person but great people in your business and you should have the posture right from the beginning that you are bringing in a leader.
Let them know where your team is going in the next six months. Paint the color of your team’s vision.
This is the fact, people wants to follow someone who is going to somewhere… Be that person who take people to somewhere.
I don’t know about you but I am looking for leaders, people wiling to put in the work, people wiling to invest in the business and in themselves…
People willing are ready to work more.
Do your new recruits some favor, look them in the eye and simply say, “Yes, you will have to show up, you will have to work, you may sag behind but I am not sitting on the beach, am moving forward with the people that are ready to move with me and this is your future, it’s not mine and it’s up to you what you do with your future, the sky is the starting point if you want it to be, everything is available for you but you will have to step up, you will have to make it happen every day, we have everything that you need, all the tools are in place, as a leader you know that you will have to do something to have success in everything you do and this is not different although in this business, you’d have to work a fraction of a time and with that you can set up a residual income that can pay you year after year instead of working for forty years and not having any residual income”
So that’s what to say to them.
With that, they can weigh their options, they can be working hindered hours per week for the rest of their lives doing what they are doing or they can work hard for a little period of time to build something that is going to be there for them for the rest of their lives.
Be honest with the prospect you are talking to, do them some favor, tell them the truth about what they can expect, don’t hide, hype or flop anything from them.
Paint the picture of where they can be if they were willing and ready to work with you.
If they were not ready to work with you after telling them the truth, then wish them good luck and you have just save them to go look for what will make them happy elsewhere.
Now, go look for leaders that are willing to put in the work needed to get what they want.
