Are you struggling to build your network marketing business online?
Probably you are thinking about how to boost your network marketing business.
Most people who want to create massive growth in their network marketing business really don’t know how to.
Most network marketers limit their conversations to their warm market, like family and friends.
But what happens when you run out?
Think about that!
Joining a network marketing (MLM) business, is often people’s first foray into business ownership.
But you need to understand a few things to really leverage this opportunity.
It’s a billion dollar industry, which means there is real money from to be made by doing them, but it is a business model that has a cycle to it.
Here are 5 keys on how to boost your network marketing business.
1. TREAT IT LIKE A BUSINESS
You need a marketing plan for your network marketing business.
Even though it’s a turn key system with set products, services and training, you still need a plan.
Success will not just happen to you.
Your early wins will come from selling to friends and family, but what are you going to do after you have harassed all the people you know to buying from you?
The average full-time network marketer earns roughly 8-figures a year.
That’s decent supplemental income if you are still working a full-time job, but real money comes from building your team and making sales—you can easily make enough network marketing business to leave corporate job, if you generate consistent sales and get a cut from those on your team.
2. BUILD YOUR SALES FUNNEL
In order to boost your network marketing business and grow it fast, begin by building a sales funnel.
There are many companies that offer sales funnels like Clickfunnels, LeadPages, GetResponse, Mailchimps.
My favourites are Clickfunnels and Mailchimps.
What Is A Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is the path that you take a prospect through to sell a product or service.
Most network marketers fail at this point because they do not know how to properly approach this process to close a sale.
When I started network marketing, I was told to speak to everyone on my phone contact list.
Then when I exhausted that, go to my social media accounts and start following people like crazy and promoting my product to them.
Talk about face palm!
Then there was attraction marketing.
Some uplines were very vague because they did not want to disclose their “secret” to people in their downline or who were not on their team.
Then we were told to make it a goal to speak to at least 100 people a day about your business. “It was a numbers game” they said.
But all I was thinking was
How in the world am I going to speak to 100 people every day?!
The answer? A sales funnel and an automated one at that.
How Does An Automated Sales Funnel Work?
Well you are most likely familiar with the whole network marketing approach I just mentioned above.
So instead of you doing the talking, you will start with a website that does the “talking and selling” for you.
And I am not talking about the traditional website, like this one that you’re reading.
3. THE MOUSETRAP METHOD
Well, this is one of the simplest methods that can create a big difference.
It depends largely on your personality and involves posting results on the social media, waiting for peeps to comments or express their interest or send a private message.
This approach is highly useful and powerful that keeps your company and friends safe especially when they post something on social media.
Moreover, it helps you generate more leads and customers showing interest in your business as they start to adore your products and services now.
To make it more result-oriented, you can add a powerful call to action that allows them to contact you if they are looking for more information.
4. UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE ATTRACTED TO NETWORKING BUSINESS
According to the Direct Selling Association, women in their mid 30s to mid 50s make up more than half of the people are joining network marketing businesses.
Many women are looking for side money for travel, paying off credit card debt, or enrichment programs for their children, and stay at home moms are trying to contribute money to the household and have the freedom to be home with their children.
Network marketing is also appealing to retirees looking for freedom to travel and earn money to supplement their retirement income, since people are living so much longer.
To pre-qualify a potential candidate, assess their skill set to see if they would be a good fit for the opportunity you have.
Ask yourself things like this: Where do they work? What are their passions? Where do they spend the most time?
Once these questions are confirmed, reach out to set up a meeting, but be honest about why you are interested in speaking with them.
5. USE THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB
The problem is, if you have the greatest hammer, and the greatest screwdriver, and the greatest wrench, but you don’t use them properly, you will lose.
It’s all about context. You never use a hammer when you could have used a wrench. You need to know when to deploy the right methodology for the opportunity at hand. Where is your audience and what do they actually do? Is Snapchat the right tool for the problem? Is email the best way to reach your audience? Is event marketing and in-person interaction the best solution to create an experience for your brand?
These are the things you need to figure out. You need to know what you are trying to accomplish and reverse engineer your outcome. When is it the right time to use a geo-filter, when is the right time to use facebook, or influencers, or instagram?
You have all of these tools but your context is wrong. You have to treat each platform as its own unique experience and you have to understand how to market and sell on each.
Let’s use Pinterest as an example.
Why do people use Pinterest over Instagram?
Because they are either planning something or have a strong intent to buy. It’s a very different behavior that requires a different strategy and unique set of tools. Understand this and you will win.
