At the very moment network marketers see a cold prospect approaching, they always have this hindrances that are often the biggest dead on their tracks, and these are lack of confidence and low self-esteem.
If you have never heard the term ‘cold market,’ it simply means a group of people that you don’t know. Conversely, your warm market is obviously people that you do know.
Cold market prospecting can be tricky because you have to meet someone and then see if they’re open to your opportunity, all in your first conversation.
HOW TO GET CONFIDENCE DURING COLD MARKET PROSPECTING
Do you remember preparing for your exams either in high school or college?
Can you remember how miserable you felt when you had to sit for an exam or assessment you didn’t prepare for?
That’s exactly how you’d feel when you go to cold prospecting without learning the rudiments of prospecting.
Your heartbeat is so audible and could be heard 30 meters away.
You’d feel inadequate and empty because you lack value.
And without value no sensible person would be willing to give you a listening ear.
So prepare ahead of time
Getting yourself prepared mentally and psychologically would enable you deal with unforeseen challenges as the present themselves to you.
Lack of preparation breeds fear which ultimately gives rise to inferiority complex or low self-esteem.

Yes, I know that rejection brings emotional pains.
We can relive and experience social pain more clearly than the physical pains we had, so it’s easy to get discouraged by any bad experience or painful experience but keep a positive attitude.
The best network marketing leader keep a positive attitude, pick up themselves and continue learning from their mistakes.
In addition, learn to manage the conversation.
End it quickly if someone is nasty.
Don’t try and convince them or anyone else to join you and never bug or chase anyone.
Keep your posture.
Even if you are broke and have never signed anyone, learn to have an attitude of confidence.
No one will ever join someone who comes across desperate.
Keep the conversation natural.
It gets weird when you have an agenda and it turns your prospects off.
Don’t treat your cold prospect like a cold prospect. See them like a human and see yourself like a very successful man, how will you talk to a stranger if you were the richest man in the world?
Approach your cold market with the answer and you will definitely gain massive confidence.
Be sincere and friendly. Be open to their friendship whether they buy from you or not.
