HOW TO PROSPECT AND RECRUIT DURING THE HOLIDAYS
Are you thinking of getting more prospects and recruits this holiday season?
What can you do to accelerate your network marketing business during the holiday season?
Do you feel you are not getting results and your business is slowing down even though with all your energy on making sure that you recruit people in this season?
So, how do you prospect and recruit people during the holidays?
In today’s post, I share how to prospect and recruit during the holidays.
Would you agree that businesses make a lot of money during this time a year?
Would you also agree that they open earlier, they stay open later, they have different specials and promotions?
As a business owner, you need to have the mentality that you’re going to make this season great for yourself and your team.
Because it’s business as usual for many including YOU.
Let me explain what I mean.
We should never assume that a prospect will not be interested in hearing about your opportunities or the benefit of your product or service.
Holiday time is generally a period of good-will, anticipation, family and connection.
It’s the perfect time for YOU to connect with other leaders and connect with your prospects.
The looser, festive spirit and environment makes for more positive and productive interaction.
And what better gift can you give or get than to create a new income stream or have a solution to that long time standing illness or problems?
Here is a list of the few things you can do to get more prospects and recruits during the holidays:
1. You can get inexpensive fruit baskets, and put your samples or coupons in, and decorate it in the colors of your network marketing company.
In the fruit basket, you can include an audio or dvd, and also an invite to a seminar that they can attend at no cost.
Give them out to friends, neighbors, associates, clients, customers, and family.
You will be glad you did and it costs nothing.
2. Another strategy is this.
Go to a shopping mall this coming saturday, and see how many people you can start a conversation with, and then give them a card or CD.
Talk to them about their kids, what they are doing for Christmas, the weather, the crowds, how they are preparing for the next year etc.
The concept is to get interested than to seek interesting.
Because people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
See if you can collect 10 names, and do it in teams.
The team that collects the most names, the other teams, have to buy them lunch or dinner.
Make this practice done within your team as a challenge.
3. GET THEM A BOOK.
You can get a paperback book that you can afford, and give them out to your prospects, and you truly are giving the “gift of success.”
You can also find free ebooks online that folks can download and send it to them online.
These books can be topics on success, goal setting, leadership, time management, or any other success oriented topic.
This will not only set you apart, but also will set you above, as success is a gift rarely given, and people love these types of reading for improvement next year.
This is a great gift to give prospects, as it truly will enlighten and open their minds, and will be appreciated, and you will be remembered.
4. You can set up holiday/appreciation lunch hour.
You can do this at your home.
Simply invite only your customers to a holiday appreciation event, and make them the superstars of it.
Have small gifts for them, and let them know how much you appreciate their business, and then ask them the first of the year for 2 referrals.
You will get them from every single person who was at that event.
5. Have FUN!
My final tip for you is have fun with these promotions and don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t get the results you were hoping for.
Sometimes people let us down or change their mind but that doesn’t mean you should burn a bridge and ruin a relationship.
Have fun because Christmas is in the air.
