HOW TO PROSPECT CO-WORKERS – Script Included.
Have you been thinking about how to prospect co-workers in a professional way?
How do you create friendly, business relationships with the people you usually see at work every day?
In today’s post, I share exactly how to prospect your co-workers in a way that is professional and a way that will get you results.
I have also included one of the best prospecting scripts on how to prospect your co-workers.
So, make sure that you read this post till the end.
If you have worked in your job for years now, you probably have had a good relationship with your co-workers.
You probably know if they are good employees as well.
If you work well with them, then it won’t be too hard to work with them on your network marketing business.
More so, because you have developed a personal relationship with them.
You probably know them personally as well as their problems.
It would be easier for you to identify their needs.
And, my Naija Marketing Pro Mastermind Group Members knows how to prospect successfully because we train this all the time…
But make sure that you don’t hype them, and do it without pitching, without pressuring, without calling them an idiot if they eventually don’t want to be open to your callings.
Instead of calling them names of different kinds, why not ask them for referrals.
Almost all of your co-workers will be willing to help if you do it right in this way.
I will encourage you to check your state of mind and maintain your posture.
Don’t convey to them that you would love to work with them in building a business but you do not need them to join you.
And what is your interpretation of sharing your opportunity with your co-workers, that is, are you intruding and bothering them or offering them the gift of the awesome power of possibilities?
When you speak, use the combined credibility of your company and its most successful leaders.
Be proud of your opportunity and do convey to them that it will be a privilege to work with you in this opportunity and your awesome network marketing company.
Got the idea?
Just stop trying to convince your co-workers or any other human beings on the planet that what you are doing is awesome and they should be doing it.
See if they’re open to taking a look. And if they are, great. If not, no big deal.
Do it without crazy expectations, without calling them an idiot if they don’t do it.
That’s the better way to approach your co-workers or anyone else on the opportunity you carry.
I HAVE PROVIDED SCRIPTS ON HOW YOU CAN PROSPECT YOUR CO-WORKERS AND IT’S A GAME CHANGER.
You may use this scripts as a guide and you may edit these scripts depending on your situation.
1. If he’s your Boss.
If you are trying to invite your boss, make sure that you indicate that you are doing this project on your off days.
When you talk to your boss, do it after work hours to show him that this project does not affect your current job.
You don’t want to lose your current job on your invitation process. Well, not until you are earning more than your salary.
You: “Sir (put his name), I’d love to speak with you, can I sir?”
Boss: Why not, what is it?
You: Sir, I know your busy so I’m going to go straight to the point.
You are one of the successful people I know and one of the reasons why you have been successful is because you are open-minded to new opportunities.
You have been phenomenal and that’s why I am contacting you.
I have this new project during my off days with other professionals and we’re expanding our project to this area and now I’ve been assigned to look for people who are smart with good business skills.. and I immediately thought about you.
I’m working with (put one of your credible leader’s name) and he would like to speak to you. Can you take a quick 2 minute 3-way phone call?
Boss: “What is this project about?”
You: “We are part of this start-up company in the (put your company niche). We do (put the benefits your company offers) and for a successful person like yourself, you can easily earn up to (put a minimum of what is possible to earn per month) a month. But, it is not my job to tell you what it is about. You have to talk to (your leader’s name). He can give you all the details and answer all your questions. I’m just here to find successful people like you.
Can you take the quick 2 minute phone call or visit his website?”
Focus on selling the meeting and not the business.
If he says No, always get a referral.
Usually successful persons are supportive and are willing to help you.
You: Can you refer me to someone who may be interested?
2: Prospect is your Co-worker who’s on the same level as you.
Co-Worker who’s on the same position as you are often the toughest people to invite.
It is very important to use a 3rd party validation such as an Upline.
You: “Hi (put his name), how are you? How have you been?” (Talk to him like the way you normally would.)
Co-worker: (Answers your questions and tells you stories of his personal life)
You: You know I’m just as busy as you are so I’m going to go straight to the point. I am so excited about this new project I’m doing on my off days with other professionals. You have to take a look. I’m with this (put your leader’s name) and we’re expanding our project to this area and I’m helping him find people I trust and will benefit from this project financially. Can you do me a favor and take a quick 2 minute phone call from him?
Co-worker: “What is it about?’
You: We are part of a (put your company details). We are in the (put your niche). We provide (benefits) and for a person like you, you can easily earn up to (earning possibilities) a month. But, it is not my job to tell you what it’s about. You have to talk to (put your leader’s name). He can give you all the details and answer all your questions. I’m just here to find people I trust who I think will benefit from this financially. Can you take the quick 2 minute phone call?
Co-worker: “I’ll think about it.”
If they offer some resistance, use this line
You: “[name] , just do me this favor and take this quick phone call? My task is to set up a quick 2 minute phone call with (put your leader’s name) and I really want to impress him and show him that I am committed to this project. Just take this quick 2 minute phone call for me?”
Note: Sell the meeting and not the business.
If they still offer resistance.
You: “Alright, you are probably not the person we’re looking for, but thank you for your time. By the way, do you know anybody who might be interested in doing this project with us?”
That’s the way to go.
It’s our wish to see you becoming a Naija Marketing Pro because with network marketing, you can take full ownership of your life.
