HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED IN YOUR NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS.
I posted on my Facebook timeline on Monday morning and asked a question which reads, “NETWORK MARKETERS: How Do You Stay Motivated Even When You Are Frustrated When Results Seems not Showing Up?”
Some network marketing rockstars answered this question and gave me responses on how to stay motivated.
Following are their responses:
John Agbo said: “The vision keeps him motivated.”
Icon Lekan Ishau said: “Mine is go back on basic things. It even happened sometimes last year a little bit. Then it remind me of what I do not which I suppose to be doing.”
Chinonyerem Njoku said: “My WHY has always kept me going.”
Uchiduino Ikechuckwu said: “Retweak your activities and get help also!”
Chukwunyere Anaba said: “Change environment, hang around successful & super-motivated people. Also, I love going for company events to re-motivate myself.”
Iyare Ojiemhen said: “I just refuse to See myself quitting because I strongly believe that It’s just a matter of time. I will definitely make it.”
Anele Godlwana said: “My WHY, my goals/dreams.”
Sameela Bibi said: “If my plan isn’t working I change it! Changes are great. Change the plan, never the goal. Don’t waste your time doing things which are not getting you results.”
AOC also said: “Mine is to go back to my vision board!”
So, I’d like to ask you now that, “How Do You Stay Motivated Even When You Are Frustrated When Results Seems not Showing Up?”

In network marketing, sometimes there’s a lot of frustration, right?
Maybe things aren’t always going the way you want it to go.
Maybe you have a challenge with recruiting, selling your products, selling your services and you don’t have the skill set. I get it, it’s REALLY frustrating!
Sometimes it’s just dealing with people — you may have a handful of people on your team and they’re not doing anything, or even worse they end up quitting.
You may feel like you’re trying to make chickens fly all the time…
You probably know that long term success in this profession is all about having one of the network marketing skills of being consistent and persistent.
But it can be hard to stay persistent if you don’t have another one of the important network marketing skill of being motivated to take action.
As Network Marketers, when it comes to lack of motivation, we have all been there.
There are days when you are super motivated, things seem to fall in place easily, you’re getting new signups in your business and then there are the other days where everything seems to be falling apart.
Nobody wants to talk with you about your business and you feel like taking the day off, the week or even quitting altogether.
It can be frustrating, but this is when you have to be your strongest and keep yourself motivated to continue. But how?
1. Have you created your WHY yet? Is it strong enough?
This is what you must refer to when you’re thinking of throwing in the towel.
Your why must be strong enough to get you back on track immediately – mine does.
Have you ever written about your why before, but just to recap, here is what your big why must address
What do you want to achieve?
Is it to …
Be your own boss?
Make lots of money?
Put your kids through school?
Pay off your mortgage?
Travel the world?
As I’ve said. it’s got to be strong enough to kick you back into action straight away and not next week.
2. Be persistent. Be Consistent! Do something everyday to keep yourself on track.
At first, this may not seem like something that can create motivation.
But if you have a goal of doing something every day, once you are on a roll, you will be motivated to continue so you do not mess up your perfect record!
Consistency can help you win in the Game of Life!
Be persistent too.
According to Ray, there are couple of ways that you can stay motivated while you are not getting results.
One is to look at people who are hugely successful that also failed.
For example, it was Howard Schultz who was turned down by 246 different banks and if he wouldn’t have gone one more time, there would be no Starbucks.
Ray Kroc was a failure his whole entire life until he stumbled upon a burger stand and ended up buying out that little burger stand and created McDonald’s in the 60s.
There was a gentleman who was kicked off the Grand Old Opera Stage and told to go back to truck driving and that’s Elvis Presley.
You have to understand that working and still not getting results as normal.
It’s normal to be doing work and not getting results. That’s normal.
Keep going. Be persistent.
According to Dr. Reverend Michael Beckwith, he says, “Pain pushes you until a vision pulls you”.
Let the vision of who you want to become pull you pass these obstacles and this is why.
Just having a why isn’t enough. It’s not enough to have a why, it’s not enough.
You have to have a vision of who you want to become that is so powerful and that can be how were you spending time with your spouse? How are you making a difference in society? Who are you? Who do you become?
That vision is so critical to get you pass the obstacles because there will be obstacles. There will be. Just a fact.
3. You need to Pace Yourself
Take your time. If you’ve heard you can get rich with network marketing in 3 months then you’ve been sold a lie. It takes time.
In Eric Worre’s book 7 Steps to become a network marketing Pro he talks about the 1,3,5,7 plan
He says, it’s going to take you about 1 year to figure things out. To get to the point you understand how to invite, how to ask someone to join your business.
It’s going to take you about 3 years to get to a full time income if you’re really working at it.
It’s going to take you about 5 years to get to a six figure or multiple six figure a year income
It going to take you about 7 years to get to world class
Once you accept these numbers, it’s time to remember that these years are going to pass anyway and it’s going to be your source of income for the rest of your life – so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
4. Work on Personal Development
Read personal development books and listen to audios.
Making this a daily habit will do amazing things for you and your business.
Set goals like reading a full book a week.
You can read a few chapters each day when you wake in the morning or before you go to bed at night.
5. Attend Events
Live events are so essential to your growth as an Entrepreneur as well as your business growth.
They leave you excited and super-charged and ready to explode your home business.
You can meet others in the industry, network and share success stories.
They are just all around leaving you feeling encouraged and motivated.
