HOW TO USE FACEBOOK GROUPS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS
It’s true, success leaves clues. One of these clues is that whenever people are trying hard and not succeeding, or whenever there is frustration, struggle or lack of results, you will know that something is wrong somewhere. Simply put, people don’t do what’s necessary to succeed.
There are many ways to use Facebook groups. Most important is finding a way to provide value for group members that will keep them active and participating in the discussion.
With this in mind, let’s take several of the keys to success I have discovered on how you can use a Facebook group to grow your business and thereby encourage prospects to join you faster.
Facebook groups, Facebook pages, Facebook profiles…. They could be a little bit confusing but I want to show you how to use a facebook group to build the kind of lifestyle you want. Today I’ll show you how to leverage a Facebook group for your team.
In one of the network marketing boot camp seminar made for leaders and shakers in this industry. I learned that you can use a Facebook group to build your team and not only that, you can also use a Facebook group to encourage prospects to join you.
Most network marketing team now have their own Facebook groups but a lot of network marketers are yet to start using it as a really cool resource for prospecting tools for people that are maybe sitting on the fence and looking at what you guys are doing and still thinking whether or not to join you.
If you can know how to use facebook groups as a prospecting tools, then you are becoming a Pro…..so I want to teach how to be a Pro.
The cool thing about a Facebook group is that it’s a free resource. You can easily set up a Facebook group even while on your bed once there’s an internet connections on your device.
If you already have a Facebook group, you might consider using that Facebook group and you can also decide to create a new Facebook group just for the sole purpose of using it for your team’s growth, prospecting and expansion. So, this is the group where you will invite your prospects to and other team players that are part of the community.
Here are the tips that will enhance your success using a Facebook group, you will want to brand your Facebook group your team name. Don’t make this mistake, never brand your Facebook group your network marketing company name.For example, if you are promoting company A, never brand your Facebook group as, ‘company A success squads,’ that’s not the way. The right way is to brand it, ‘Success squad team.’
Another thing is, you will want to invite all your team players and leaders that you’re working with to come into the group, and if you don’t have your team yet, ask your leadership to come into the group and encourage them to communicate in the group in a way that will be helpful to the prospect to make a buying decision, ask them to share their experiences with the product or service or the opportunity, ask them to share the experience in the third party testimonials. Now what this does is that, it gives your prospects the sense of positivity and optimism that what you’re promoting works and if it works for one, it can work for all.
Also, you will need to educate the team maybe in the group rules that if you want to be impactful in this team, you will have to contribute positively to the group discussions and share your testimonies.
Create a success story photo album and whenever any of your leaders or team players shares their testimonies, what you should do is to screenshot themand add them to the photo album. When you do this, you can easily direct your new members or prospects there to check what you guys have gotten so far.
Now, when you invite new prospect into the group, tell them beforehand that they should make sure they engage in some of the success stories but tell them, “the biggest thing I want you to do is that, I want you to go to the photo album in the group called testimonials and success stories and you can hear all the success stories that our personal team in the company are having and I think you are really going to like it.” The success story photo album of the group is really powerful.
Never make this mistake, don’t spam, never invite them into the group without their permission,you can say something like this before adding them, “Hey, I am inviting you into our team community so you can do some personal researches inside and outside of the team, and how you can learn a little bit of our company culture and you can also see some of the success stories of the people using our products but this is what we will do, I am adding you there for seven days.”
This is where you crush it big and where you act as a leader and Pro with your follow ups…. What you should do next is to tell them that, “You See, I am going to be adding you there for seven days, you can connect with people, ask people what you need to know, ask doubting questions and make your decisions but in seven days time, I will be following up with you and see if you have finally decided to be part of our community and to have some fun with us.”
You should schedule a particular day and time to check them back with them.Don’t just add them to the Facebook group and leave them alone and started thinking or expecting them to get back to you themselves, you have to have a schedule time to reach them back after seven days of adding them for you to collect their decision.
Then, after the seven days, you will have to follow up with them and ask them that, “Is there anything else you need to know before we finally get you started and I am officially welcoming you as a member inside of the group.”
Now, at this point, you have two choices, it’s either you keep them in the group if they join you as either a customer or distributor or you remove them if they didn’t join you.
It is ultimately important that you have a scheduled follow up time with themand that’s where you have it on how to use Facebook groups to build your business and use it to encourage your prospects to join you faster.
