Challenges, frustrations, and problems…are normal and a part of life and business.
Ask yourself if it’s harder to overcome that challenge or never achieve what you want in life.
If you choose the second option, keep going.
And remember, you are not alone in the face of adversity.

My goal is that these strategies I’m going to share with you will give you a new perspective and ability to help you overcome anything that comes your way.
1. EVALUATE THE SITUATION.
What’s the problem? Is it something small, or was the path in front of you completely blown up?
In most instances, the problem is usually minor, but don’t simply dismiss it as nothing.
That’s when minor problems can become major issues.
You may want to look for problems that become trends—whether it’s with your team mates, prospects or customers.
Trends can turn a #500 problem into a #50,000 nightmare.
By empowering your teammates to address the obstacles in your company’s path, you’re helping to create confident leaders who can help take your business to the next level.
Lastly, is your obstacle a “false wall?” Sometimes we can create our own detours out of fear.
We may be afraid of success and create excuses as to why we can’t move forward.
Evaluate your situation to determine what is impeding your path to success.
You can’t beat something if you don’t know what it is.

One of my bosses said, “I’ve actually had a ton of obstacles in my life. I was a teenage mom. I started a business as a single mother of three. I recently just beat cancer.”
“In all of those instances, whether personal or professional … I think I had been reframing obstacles as opportunities [for so long] that I naturally did it and didn’t even realize I was doing it.”
When she started her business with a mortgage to pay and three children to take care of all on her own, her main obstacle was wondering how she’d make ends meet.
“I reframed it as a way for me to build a consulting business to essentially bootstrap my business and my passion at the same time,”
“So it was an opportunity for me to grow in other areas and really take a look at my skill set to see how it could work for me.”

This is most important.
You must learn to manage your impatience and be ready when the smoke clears.
The harder the obstacle, the more time it will take to overcome.
Set a preliminary schedule with clear milestones so you can track forward or backward progress.
This way you’ll see the cumulative impact of miniscule change.
One man told me, “This strategy helped me manage weight problem.”

It’s imperative to make sure your team has all the information they need to assess the situation and make the best possible decision.

6. ATTACK THE PROBLEM.
Once you and your team have decided on a solution for the problem, attack it.
The last thing you want is to have a problem, once thought handled, come back and wreak more havoc on your business.
Recurring problems or detours may slow down your workforce productivity and potentially create morale problems.
No one wants to deal with the same issues over and over again.
