Many network marketers never know how to qualify their prospects before presenting or demonstrating. They just don’t know how to do it.
They simply never do it and others aren’t organized well enough to be able to do it professionally.
How often have you committed an hour or half a day going, demonstrating, presenting and coming back, only to discover that your prospect can’t afford your offering, can’t make the decision to buy it, or can’t use its features nor join your company?
Some are afraid to face facts, whatever keep you off to qualify prospects before giving a full presentation, the network marketers who don’t qualify their prospects are often depressed because they are not making enough signing up or duplication.
By the time you are through reading today’s post, it will turn you to becoming a recruiting Ninja and a good closer, many network marketers try to close the wrong people too often and too hard.
I strongly believe that many network marketers don’t fail to close, they fail to qualify.
For some reason, many average network marketers think that the only important thing is to demonstrate the product or present the service with a lot of slick phrases and gimmicks, if they do that, if they tell the prospects everything about their products or services, they will hear, ‘Yes, am in,’ ‘Yes, we’ll take it.’
QUALIFICATION IS THE KEY TO NETWORK MARKETING SUCCESS AND THE PROFESSIONALS KNOW BETTER.
The professional network marketers know better, they know that qualification is the key to high rate of conversion and the key to high duplication.
Since they understand the need for and the methods of qualifying, they also appreciate the value of pre-qualifying techniques which I have termed ‘the sorting conversation.’
A sorting conversation is the process of determining if a prospect is interested in becoming a retail customer, a wholesale customer, and/or a distributor. It is a quality conversation during which your prospect gets to explore the details and benefits of the different things you have to offer.
If you use the techniques in today’s post, your leads are pre-qualified before you meet them. You are assured that they have the needs and resources to buy into what you are promoting.
As a general rule, it takes as much time to see ten non-qualified leads as it does to see ten qualified leads. The difference is that your sales are 500 percent greater with qualified leads than they are with the non-qualified type.
This is a figure that should give you pause if you’re not effectively qualifying your leads.
No matter what it takes to develop this skill, you must do it if you possibly can and you will because that’s why this post is made for you.
Qualifying means that you work hard with people who will buy your offering instead of working equally hard with people who won’t buy your offering. It’s that simple.
TO INCREASE YOUR CONVERSION RATE, HERE ARE THE QUALIFYING TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1. FIND OUT WHAT THEY HAVE NOW.
This step is simple and the most important, it involves asking them questions such as, ‘How they are presently handling their need for the benefit that you can supply,’ ‘Where they are headed,’ when I know where they are headed, I know how to sell them what they need to get there.
2. FIND OUT WHAT THEY LIKE MOST ABOUT THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE THEY NOW HAVE.
As a general rule, knowing how they feel about what they have points you straight at how to make the sale or, equally important, alerts you to the fact that you will be wasting your time trying to sell that particular prospect.
Every product and service has its limitations; trying to sell outside those limitations is a total waste of irreplaceable time.
Questions to ask here involves, ‘What do you like about your present (put the particular product name),’ ‘How best does this…….works for you?’
Don’t waste your time working with people who want what you don’t have. If you spend your time that way, you will have the ‘bad luck’ to be out every time the business comes in.
But if you follow these steps and concentrate on working with the people you can help enjoy the benefits they want, you’ll be working with buyers who’ve pre-committed themselves to what you have.
They will literally be sold before you even demonstrate. Your demonstration or presentation will, in fact, simply be a confirmation that they’ve got to have it.
Can you feel how excited and fulfilled you will be closing in these kinds of situations? The right way to sell not only is the moneymaking way – it’s also the easy way once you learn to organize yourself to do it as a Pro.
3. ‘WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ALTERED OR IMPROVED IN YOUR NEW (NAME THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE)?’
A professional uses the answers to that question to find out which qualities he must emphasize to close the sale.
Build your demonstration or presentation around the things they want altered or changed in what they have now,
feed back what they’ve told you they want, and they have to agree that you’re making sense.
4. ASK SPECIFIC QUESTIONS THAT GET THEM TO DREAM.
‘What if….?’ is a great way to get your prospects to explore the awesome power of possibilities available through your particular networking opportunity.
Share benefits first and then support them with features.
Stress the unique appeal of your products based on the results they can achieve for the prospect. What distinguishes your products from all the others on the market?
Tell personal stories that illustrate and support your claims. Remember, facts tell, but stories sell!
Without easily understanding just how they will be able to make the opportunity work for them, your prospects will have real reservations about getting involved. It is your job to help them practically envision their success.
