Headlines are very important in this context. When you have a compelling headline, it will grab your reader and demand that he continue on to explore what you have to offer.
Headlines need to be benefit-driven. They must tell your prospects immediately that what follows can contribute to their lives in one way or another.
Most marketers miss the boat by having headlines that are feature-driven, they talk about the product or service or other traits of more interest to the marketer than the prospect.
Benefits are about your prospect and what they will get whereby features are about you.
This is an example of a feature-driven headlines:
‘OUR PRODUCTS ARE CHOLESTEROL FREE,” “DEBT FREE COMPANY EXPANDS NATIONWIDE”
The above headlines speaks about the company or product and not about the prospect. Let’s look at the headlines that are benefit-driven.
“HAVE THE PEACE OF MIND THAT YOU WON’T GET CANCER,” “EXIT THE RAT RACE WITH A 6 FIGURE DREAM INCOME.”
These headlines offer benefits to your prospects and invite them to learn more.
Now, let’s look at some network marketing lead generation sources:
These are group mailings of post cards or fliers promoting your business or special offer. Free samples or discounts always work.
Write copy that targets the prospects you really want. Any mailing needs to clearly specify the benefits you are offering to your prospects.
Too many people confuse features with benefits and miss the mark in generating sufficient value for the prospect to create the interest needed to follow through and contact you.
WARM MARKET SOURCES AND REFERRALS
These include your friends, relatives, co-workers and others close to you. This usually used to be your first sponsoring strategy.
Your company probably offers a “Who do you know?” form for listing your personal contacts. Most people know several hundred people. Create this list for recruits.
Each person on your warm list has his or her own warm list of people you don’t know. Their reference will be an “implied endorsement” of you and your program.
BUSINESS PRESENTATION MEETINGS
Hosting opportunity or business meetings is an effective way by which you can get large number of people to introduce your opportunities to.
Meetings can be done in a variety of locations, from the distributors home to offices to hotel function rooms.
These meetings serves as a nucleus funneling a consistent stream of new and empowered distributors into your opportunity and training meetings.
COLD MARKET CALLING
Cold market can be effective when done by someone who communicates well and doesn’t come across in a stilted, scripted way, it’s a very cool techniques that is successful only for those who don’t mind hearing “No!”
My success in cold calling has been attached to my friendliness and outgoing with a sense of humor.
When cold calling, develop a non-threatening approach that creates room for your prospect to check out what you are offering without risk or obligation.
I like to do it as a Pro by saying something like this,
“My company is expanding in your area. Would you do me a favor and take a look at it and let me know if you think it would work where you live?”
“I’ve started a business with a product I think makes a lot of sense, but I’d like to get your input. Would you be willing to check it out and give me your opinion?”
If you talk to enough people, some are bound to be interested.
Having a personal website is becoming mandatory for the successful distributor.
This is and will still be the best way to generating high quality leads.
Leveraging on the awesome possibilities attached to the internet is the best way to building your business for the long term.
As network marketing evolves into the 21st century, the marvels of the information age are becoming the everyday tools of our trade.

The low cost in relation to the potential audience you can reach is one of the main attraction of generating leads online.
The online media channels you can capitalize on in this context includes blogging, YouTube, Facebook live video, Quora, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media channels.

HOW DO YOU APPROACH AN AD LEAD?
One way to approach an ad lead would be, introduce yourself briefly and determine if this is a good time for your prospect to talk.
If it is, say something like this:
“I would be happy to tell you a little bit about our company, opportunity and product line. Would it be OK if I asked you a few questions first to see where your interest lies?”
Ask a few questions about what they do, why they responded to your ad, where their interest lies etc.
All the while building rapport and friendship. At this point, you can briefly explain about your opportunity or products.
Speak in terms of what makes your company unique and special.
You might then ask if they would be interested in reading some literature, watching a video or listening to an audio tape, depending on what your company is using successfully.
Once you have done that. You have now determined whether your prospect has an interest in exploring what you have to offer or not.
