THE RULES TO EFFECTIVE NETWORK MARKETING GOAL SETTINGS.
Have you heard, “If you really want something, that will make a difference in your life. You will work to satisfy that want, you will sacrifice pleasures for it, you will even be willing to change and grow for it.”
You can achieve almost any goal you have the courage to set but sometimes it takes a painful experience to light the way.
In this post, I will be sharing with you the rules that guides effective network marketing goal settings, some rules must be followed if the system is to work. Here they are:
1. HAVE DAILY GOALS AND REVIEW RESULTS EVERY NIGHT.
You may be thinking, ‘Won’t this take a lot of time, will it even worth it?’ But, is making a success of your life worth a little trouble?
If the truth be told, it’s not the trouble that’s bothering you, it’s the idea of submitting to any form of discipline, even self-imposed discipline.
Think that through before you begin to set any network marketing goal for yourself because if you are not willing to accept your own discipline, you’re not going to accomplish two percent of what you could and you are going to miss out on ninety-eight percent of the good things you could have.
2. SET ACTIVITY GOALS, NOT PRODUCTION GOALS.
How many people will you prospect today? How many demonstrations or presentations will you give? How many rejections will you go looking for? If all your goals are production goals, you are setting up for a slump.
If your daily and weekly goals are based on activity, on the number of prospecting calls to be made, the number of presentations to be given, and so on.
You will keep on meeting your goals during problem periods. Because you’re active, you’ll adjust to the new conditions faster and sell yourself out of the slump before it can get you down.
3. IF IT’S NOT IN WRITING, IT’S NOT A GOAL.
Any network marketing goal that you haven’t written down isn’t a goal but a wish, a never-happen dream.
The day you put down your network marketing goal in paper is the day it becomes a commitment that will change your life.
4. NETWORK MARKETING GOALS MUST BE SPECIFIC.
If it’s not specific, it’s not a goal. Period.
As I found out many years ago, broad desires and lofty aims have no effect. Merely isn’t enough.
It takes concrete planning to get a concrete network marketing goal, until you translate your vague wishes into concrete goals and plans, you’re not going to make much progress.
5. NETWORK MARKETING GOALS MUST BE BELIEVABLE.
Napoleon Hill says that “Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve also.”
If you don’t believe that you can achieve any network marketing goals that you have set for yourself, you won’t pay the price for it.
6. INCLUDE YOUR TEAM PLAYERS IN YOUR NETWORK MARKETING GOALS.
You will be amazed at how hard you can work when your team players know that they get a bite of the larger pie if you reach your goal.
When their own network marketing goals are intimately involved with your own, they will buck you up when you need encouragement.
7. AN EFFECTIVE GOAL IS AN EXCITING CHALLENGE.
If your network marketing goal doesn’t push you beyond where you have been before, if it doesn’t demand your best and a bit more you didn’t realize you had in you – it isn’t going to change your ways and elevate your lifestyle.
8. START NOW.
Give network marketing goal setting two hours of concentrated thought today.
Then set aside ten minutes a day for the next twenty-one days to review and revise your goals.
After that, two minutes a day, plus one hour a week, will keep you flying toward the immensely greater and richer future that the goal-setting system will deliver if you follow these rules.
Go to it. You will have a terrific year if you have 365 fulfilling days in which you achieve your daily goals and on into the future, as one terrific year follows another.
What an exciting prospect, and it will all be yours if you’ll just start setting your goals now.
