WAYS TO CONVERT NETWORK MARKETING PROSPECTS TO PARTNERS.
Last week on my Facebook timeline, I asked a question that says, what is your biggest challenge in network marketing and Chuly Yvodia and Oluchi Anya Ike said, converting prospects to partners. Click here to see this post.
In this respect, we will be looking at the ways to convert network marketing prospects to partners.
Getting a prospect is one thing.
Turning that prospect into a partner is quite another.
Indeed, while there are plenty of companies and software solutions that can help businesses drum up prospects leads, they can’t turn them into partners for them.
So to find out what you can, or should, do to convert prospects into partners, today’s training is specifically for you.
Know your prospects.
By analyzing lead data, such as the browsing patterns of website visitors, the methods prospects are using to ask questions and research your offerings, the geographic area’s prospects come from, the keywords they searched for to find you, where they visited on your site and how long they stayed on the site, you’ll gather valuable information about who your prospects are and what they want.
You can also meet prospects face to face but have a plan for your initial meeting.
Know what you can offer to help them.
Follow up consistently after the initial meeting.
Communicate personally as well as electronically.
As network marketers, we have an opportunity today to find and engage prospects “upstream,” before they become partners.
These prospects aren’t going to convert right away, but if you can engage them early and gain their trust, you’re more likely to get business from them once they are ready to buy.
No matter what you do, you can’t change when a prospect is going to buy.
Your job is to be in front of more people, so when they’re ready to buy, they are already familiar with you.
You can also practice customer-centric selling every day.
Make sure you understand your prospects; their needs, wants and the likes.
Once you understand your prospects, put them at the center of your sales and marketing efforts and there are tops to getting this done:
1. Use “you” instead of “I”
2. Treat the first sales call like an interview.
3. Find ways to let the customer talk about himself or herself.
4. Align yourself with existing customer priorities
5. Respect their time
Publish your own content to attract prospects
Content marketing allows you to stay in front of your customers.
Make sure you’re considering the following when planning your content strategy:
• What do I want people to see, here and/or learn?
• What do I want people to think?
• What do I want people to do?
Prospects really want to know that you care about more than just closing the deal.
They want you to genuinely care about their needs and that you aren’t a shark looking to take their money.
Be a helper and suggest ways to achieve their goals.
Craft a customized presentation that connects your prospect’s goals and challenges to your offering, and shows exactly how they’ll benefit with your service.
To customize a sales presentation:
Clearly explain your buyer’s unique challenge.
This also sets you up to uniquely position your product as the solution.
Include pros and cons of different solution options.
Use the same language your prospect uses. For example, if they refer to their customers as “clients,” use that same terminology.
Explain to your prospect the resources that are available to them after they become a partner.
Make helpful recommendations that don’t 100% relate to your product.
Did you find overlooked detail that is contributing to their challenges?
Do you see a quick win for their challenge they can implement without your product?
These are all small details that add up big in building trust with a prospect and what can quickly convert your prospects to becoming a partner!
