In today’s training, I share exactly what to do when you are stagnant in network marketing.
It is the laws of cause and effect.
For every effect, there’s a cause of it.
Before we go to look at what to do when you are stagnant in network marketing, let us look at some of the causes of stagnation in your network marketing business.
1. Lack of Sales and Marketing Alignment
Your marketing strategy must adapt to your target audience behavior. Because your prospects wants a simple message and streamlined experience.
Look at what she said to me from the scenarios I gave up there, “I will talk ooh trying to convince them, at the end some will say even though they register they will not be able to be talking like this or marketing the product. This alone is frustrating”
It will be frustrating because when you talk long, you talk wrong… So, keep it simple.
2. Old-School Sales and Marketing Behavior
If you are still playing the old school game today, you are on a long thing. You have every tools at your feet today. You can be in your room and be recruiting people in the other continent even now.

SO WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE STAGNANT IN NETWORK MARKETING.
Ways To Overcome Network Marketing Stagnation.
1. REVIEW AND ORGANIZE YOUR MARKETING MATERIAL
You should make sure that your marketing materials are able to communicate and attract ideal customers.
You should also verify that they are up to date, and that they are following the current and correct style guidelines and are in line with your goal.
Start crafting messages that will promote the end value of your product/service and stop focusing on features alone.
A great message will include the benefits (both personal and emotional) of a product/service and not just the functional elements.
Sometimes, prospects make purchasing decisions based on emotional motivation, so focusing on feelings can be a great way to redesign your marketing.
2. DEVELOP PERSONAS THAT YOU CAN CATER TO
Think about who buys from your business and develop a full picture of that consumer.
Go beyond the basics and devise a personal message targeting that consumer.
Who are you trying to attract? Where are they active? What are their likes and dislikes?
Because if you don’t know who your potential customer is, how will you know who to target and where?
That’s essentially what we’re trying to achieve here.
A clear route from attraction to conversion.
Because knowing your audience will stop you running around in circles.
Create a customer persona to stay focused.
Make it up based on any available stats (website, Instagram, surveys, etc.) and stick it somewhere you can always see it.
And table all your marketing messages to the relevancy of your customers impressions.
3. INVITE ANY OF YOUR STAGNANT NETWORK MARKETING TEAM MEMBER TO JOIN YOU AT AN EVENT.
Purchase a ticket in their name and personally invite them to hang out with you for the day.
I know of some leaders who regularly do this and purchase tickets for the entire team, preplanning the outing and shutting down the department, office, shop for the day if appropriate.
This idea often begins to show ROI immediately as the person will undoubtedly be grateful, even excited, and will want to ensure you’ve made a great decision.
Provide them with any supplemental information about the event so they can do some research and be aware of what to expect.
Take the invitation one step further by inviting them to travel to the event with you.
This includes a local event; this will alleviate any concern stagnant network marketing team member may have about locating you inside the venue.
Once inside, be sure to introduce them to people within your network, have lunch with them, and ask them their thoughts throughout the event. Notice if they are taking notes.
Notice which speaker or which segment seemed to get them really excited.
Treating the stagnant network marketing team member as your personal guest for the day will give you both an opportunity to connect on a whole new level.
4. HARD WORK
This is definitely a no brainer!
Top network marketing leaders have always emphasized that there is no shortcut to success.
It’s all about hard work, hard work and hard work!
Stagnation is a time for any serious network marketer to ask himself or herself questions such as, “Am I working hard enough?”, “Are my team mates motivated enough to work their hardest?”
Surely everyone knows the answer.
But it is a different thing to know the answer and to confront the answer.
One man said, “A good leader should have a servant’s heart.”
Based on the conclusions, you can take appropriate action.
5. STOP PROCRASTINATING
An old saying goes like, “Time is Money”.
This line is extremely famous and has been done to death by Nollywood films but perhaps nobody knows better than a network marketer what significance time holds in the realm of his network marketing business.
Quick and prompt action are ways to overcome stagnation.
If you, as a network marketer find yourself stagnated then perhaps, check this aspect.
6. DEVELOP A STRATEGY
With a clear vision in mind and a target audience, take a fresh look at your business.
What are your strengths? What could be improved? How can you progress? Is there anything you can get rid of to better achieve your goals?
Start small and identify the one thing that you can tackle first.
Do you need to work on your branding?
Have you not yet launched onto Instagram? Do you have a monthly offline meeting with your teammates that you need to bring online?
Enjoy this part of the business development process.
Scribble your ideas onto a big white sheet of paper with colourful pens and your strategy will start to reveal itself.
7. SET ASIDE TIME TO LEARN NEW SKILLS.
If you don’t concentrate on self-improvement, then you’ll get left behind.
Keep learning to expand your skillset, stay relevant and be in tune with your industry.
Invest in your personal development and ask your team mates to always be following suits.
