WHAT IS NETWORK MARKETING?
Network Marketing definition depends on who you talk to.
If you talk to someone that has paid the price for success, learned the skills involved, took massive actions thereby built a successful business that pays him a solid six-figure, even multiple seven-figure annual business, this is what they will tell you:
‘Network Marketing can be a lucrative way to build income, an opportunity for the average person without a lot of money to invest to become financially free but the business rely on you to build a downline of others who work the business with you.’
When you talk to someone who has joined network marketing business at a time and never put in the work needed to get the success he desires, he might say something like this:
‘Network marketing doesn’t work, the only people who make big money are the people who get in early’
So what? Both may be right but those are not the answers to the question.
WHAT IS NETWORK MARKETING REALLY?
Network marketing is one of the most popular passive income streams. When you join a network marketing company, you become part of a team.
Network marketing depends on you to build a team of others who work the business with you. Every time your team players makes a sale, you receive a portion of the money.
You also receive a portion of the money from the items you sell. In this way, you have two sources of income, one that is active and one that is residual. When done professionally, it is a highly money spinning option, especially when your team players are productive.
With the awesome power of possibilities in network marketing whereby you can make a whole lot of money at the same time help add value to the world, most of the people who join will never make a dime. Why?
Because they don’t operate it like a real business and haven’t taken their time to learn the basics of network marketing.
NETWORK MARKETING IS A BUSINESS OF RESPONSIBILITY.
Network markeking provided me with a different and much more clear definition of what being responsible really means.
Responsibility means ‘the ability to respond.’
Responsibility starts with the willingness to deal with a situation from the point of view that you are both the architect and builder of who you are, what you do, and what you have.
It means taking the view point that you are the one responsible for everything that shows up around you in life. It’s your creation.
Network marketing is the essence of creating your ideal life. Network marketing is creativity.
Network marketing is simply the vehicle to live a life of choice, a life of influence, a life to financial freedom.
The financial freedom that can be created through network marketing can bring about the personal freedom to live with complete responsibility to create a life totally consistent with your values, goals and dreams and to have fun doing it, too.
Network marketing is about people. At its best, network marketing is about people getting control of their lives, following their dreams, living their values and supporting others to do the same.
This is why traditional sales people often fail miserably in network marketing. They are so indoctrinated in product, product, product, they lose sight of people, people, people.
Their focus is in the wrong place, either on the products, or on making themselves a lot of money selling the products. Neither of those reasons are very important to anyone else in the world.
What is important to everyone in the world is relationships.
NETWORK MARKETING IS A BUSINESS OF RELATIONSHIP.
Network marketing is about relationships. That’s why the old recruiting theory of throw enough mud against the wall and see what sticks simply doesn’t work.
Network marketing is not about other people doing it alone and making you a lot of money. Rather, it’s about YOU partnering with others to help them realize their dreams and so on.
Network marketing is about committing to the success of other people to the same extent that they are willing to commit to their own success.
That’s where the power of possibilities and connections in network marketing lies.
In relationships – emotional, committed, contributing, empowering, relationships and whatever it is you contribute to others will come back to you ten-fold minimum. Period!
With this in mind, to be a successful network marketer, you must be a person who has highly developed listening skills.
Listening to what others say, and to what they do not say. Listening for what it’s like to walk a mile in the other person’s moccasins. Listening for what’s important to that person and what’s missing in their lives.
Listening is the key to network marketing success.
Listening is necessary for effective communication. Communication is the foundation of all effective and rewarding relationships and relationships are the key to success in network marketing!
So what is network marketing?
Network marketing is a career choice and a profession.
Network marketing is a path to fame, fortune and time freedom.
Network marketing is fun, lucrative and exciting.
Network marketing is a proven ‘million dollar’ business model.
