Is your favorite social media Facebook or Twitter, or Instagram?
However the social media that’s your favorite, there are some things you should avoid doing if you want to grow your community and use your social media presence to form relationships, create networks and build a profitable network marketing business in 2022.
Social media is extremely powerful nowadays, but sometimes network marketers use it incorrectly and hinder their results.
In this training, I’m sharing What Not To Do On Social Media in 2022
1. DO NOT COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

WHAT NOT TO DO ON SOCIAL MEDIA IN 2022
What posts on social media do you enjoy the most?
The happy ones, such as birthdays, wedding announcements, a new house or a promotion. Isn’t it?
You know those people always complaining? You want to hide their incessant stream of negativity.
The same goes for you as a network marketer.
According to Albert Costill, we generally are more inclined to read and respond to positivity on social media.
That means that, instead of bashing the competition or spreading negativity, you should be sharing content that is uplifting, inspirational, or lighthearted.
This type of content is more likely to be viewed and shared by your prospects and even team mates and other network marketers.
2. DO NOT SPAM YOUR PEOPLE MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR FOLLOWERS.

Spam isn’t just for email anymore; it has also entered the world of social media most likely, Facebook messenger, Whatsapp groups, etc.
Figuring out what spamming is on social sites is tricky because there is not an “opt-in,” per se.
Some forms of social media spamming to stay away from including unsolicited sales pitches, posting the same updates over and over, and sending private messages after being asked to stop.
It could also mean joining a Whatsapp group without reading or knowing what the group is all about and sending a link to the group and then leave, this is unprofessional and if you have been doing this, it should stop in 2022.

3. PASSING OUT MISLEADING INFORMATION
Yes, we know how competitive businesses can get –
We wants to be better than the competition. We want to show and proud that our network marketing company is the best.
This is why many network marketers may resort to exaggerating bits of information.
Although this may be tempting and draw in people temporarily, it can actually have a negative effect on you and your team long term.
When building a brand it is important to build trust between your business and prospects.
The majority of people who have had a positive experience on your wall are more likely to share your page with other users.
In the same vein, if they have a negative experience, you risk getting some negative feedback and driving prospects away.
4. MAKING IT ONLY ABOUT YOURSELF

WHAT NOT TO DO ON SOCIAL MEDIA IN 2022
Think about that annoying friend or coworker (we all have one) who only talks about themselves.
It gets old really fast, and it makes you not want to spend time with that person.
The same thing applies to social media.
If all you’re doing is selling your product or service, then that’s a huge turn-off for people.
Remember, social media is first and foremost social.
Although starting out on social media can be a challenge, keep in mind it is about starting a conversation with people.
Use social media to ask a questions or request feedback from visitors.
It’s these small actions that will make people follow you or your brand.
5. POSTING WITHOUT IMAGES/VIDEOS
You’ve probably noticed a lot of content consists of either images or videos.
That’s because these visual pieces of content are faster for us to process (60,000 times faster than text) and are easily sharable.
Having a high-quality image or video can also increase the amount of likes for your post.
On Facebook, for example, images are liked twice as much.
6. IT IS EASY TO IGNORE COMMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, BUT DO NOT DO IT.
No time to check in every once in a while to see how people respond to your posts?
Make time!
If you see someone who has a question or concern, take the time to address the issue.
If you see someone who says something positive about your brand or shares your post, thank that person.
Again, it is about showing your human side.
Establish a relationship with your audience, so you can turn them into customers.
7. NOT SPELL CHECKING
Including abbreviations, acronyms, and slang may be fine to use on a personal account with friends, but not for a professional.
Customers want to deal with someone who will actually take the extra second to spell out “you”.
It’s a simple and effective way to prove that you’re a professional.
There you go on what not to do on social media in 2022
I hope, this helps you maintain a good reputation on social media in 2022.
One quick question: would you please share this post on social media? Thanks!
